Our yoga teachers engage kids of all ages in a playful experience of peaceful practices. Along with the physical and emotional benefits of yoga, this program incorporates social-emotional learning strategies to help build student mind-body health, as well as self-awareness and self-regulation skills.
At the infant and toddler level, our instructors incorporate elements of massage, stretching and sensory play. As children grow in their practice, we add in elements of storytelling, games, breath work and more complex movements. For older students, we help them turn stress into sweat, and doubt into confidence. By incorporating movement and mindfulness into each session, students become more in control of their thoughts and emotions, which leads to improved behavior, focus and concentration.
